A Legacy is something that is carried forward, year after year.
It becomes part of a story, a tradition, and a place where memories continue to grow.
At 50 Acre Woods, many groups have returned again and again. What started as “trying a new retreat center” has quietly turned into:
“This is where we go every year.”
That is a legacy.
Over the past two years, as more groups have returned, a new challenge has appeared. Favorite weeks began overlapping. Some groups had to adjust their dates because another returning group had already secured that time. While everyone has been incredibly gracious, it became clear that a better system was needed — one that honored loyalty and removed the stress of wondering if “your week” would still be available.
That is why the 50 Acre Woods Legacy Program was created.
This program allows returning organized groups to claim a week that becomes their retreat home each year. As long as the group follows the simple timeline, that week remains theirs and includes special Legacy Member benefits.
Legacy Member Benefits Include:
Your group’s week is secured each year
Initial two-year price protection (explained/customized in your offer email)
A retreat shirt for each attendee
Priority notice and preferred pricing (when available) for special events and classes
A standing Legacy Discount code for members who return for additional retreats
Simplified planning for organizers and attendees
Because many groups have a history here and special preferences for certain times of year, launching this program requires careful coordination to make sure everyone is treated fairly and thoughtfully.

As groups confirm their participation in the Legacy Program, their weeks will become solidified, and the calendar color will change to reflect their official Legacy status.

If 50 Acre Woods has become part of your group’s story, this program was created for you.
Here’s your timeline:
Each Year:
12 months in advance - you will confirm the following year’s commitment to a minimum of 11 guests and a maximum of 14. Also, the group’s organizer will be confirmed.
The organizer submits the guest information and is the go-between for communication with 50 Acre Woods and the group.
11 months in advance - a list of all guest names and email addresses will be submitted to 50 Acre Woods.
10 months in advance - all guest deposits of 50% will be submitted.
Individual guest cancellations will be immediately reported to 50 Acre Woods, and the refund policy acknowledged during registration will apply to all individuals without exception. If the group attendance falls below the minimum of 11 registrations, the organizer will be notified.
